GEORGE HENRY DRAWINGS

The George Henry was a DeWinton 'Coffee Pot' locomotive which was used in the Welsh slate mines. This replica was built a few years ago as a close copy of the original, which can be found tucked away in a Welsh museum. I built the cylinder units as per original and didn't cheat by using Stuart Turner stationary engines.

I have now brought all the drawings up to date and printed them out in A4 book form. There are 46 drawings and I've included a page of photos of the full size engine and a couple of pages of constructional photos. I'm asking £45 for the book which includes free postage.

Unfortunately, bravepages has withdrawn my website without telling me why and I can't get them to answer my emails. However, most of the original can be found at this link with some photos missing: (thanks Larry).

HUNSLET DRAWINGS

This is a model of the WW1 Hunslet 4-6-0 used behind the lines for transporting munitions etc. The photo shows the model in a rather different colour scheme from the war time matt black. The drawings are bound in A4 book form. There are 70 drawings covering everything to make a complete build, all to accurate scale so that measurements can be taken directly from the drawings if necessary. There are four pages of construction photos and setting up the valve timing instructions. Unfortunately, the cost of printing is quite high and the price is £75 post free in the UK.
